Why doesn't my organization have a hyperlink on the Global Calendar?
This is most likely because your organization is not a member of InterPride. While we include your information as a service to members or non-members, the link is a membership benefit. To learn about other membership benefits, visit the Members section. To Join, click the Join Us link above.
Can I be a member?
Not you personally. InterPride does not offer memberships to individuals. Your organization can join however.
Where can I find information on Scholarships?
Scholarships are available to members only. The information can be found in the conferences section and Member login site.
What is a Pride Event?
A parade, march, rally, festival, arts festival, cultural activity or other event/activity organized for people identifying as lesbians and/or gay men and/or bisexuals and/or transgendered persons and/or intersex and/or other emerging sexual identities and promoting the visibility and/or validating the existence of those persons. It may also involve commemorating the Stonewall Riots or a similar historic event/annual/periodic festival as organized by a pride organization as defined below.
What is a Pride Organization?
A not-for-profit organization that produces Pride Events as one of its major purposes or activities.
Is InterPride a member of any other organizations?
Yes, we are a member of The International Gay Lesbian Travel Association, The International Lesbian Gay Association and European Pride Organisers Association (IGLTA, ILGA and EPOA).
