Executive Officer nominations are now open
Nominations are open now until August 17, 2019, for Executive Officer positions for 2019-2021 on the Board of Directors for those interested in running for:
- Co-President, Female Identified
- Vice President Global Outreach (x2) - there are two positions to be elected.
- Vice President Development
- Vice President Accessibility, Diversity and Inclusion
Candidates may only run for one office. Candidates must submit the following by 11:59 pm Eastern Daylight Time [NYC], August 17, 2019, to be considered for nomination:
- their letter of intent
- a letter of support/endorsement from a full member organization
- a 400-word bio listing experience and potential contribution
- a 300 dpi headshot
They also may optionally supply the Candidate Vetting Committee with a resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV), and three references. Candidates must also be affiliated with a Full Member organization, able to complete their term, and must have attended one of the two previous AGM's (Indianapolis in 2017 or Saskatoon in 2018), as well as be present in Athens, Greece.
There will be no nominations from the floor.
All the above items should be sent to the Governance Co-Chairs.
Bylaw Amendments Due
Amendments to the bylaws for consideration are also due by 11:59 pm Eastern Daylight Time [NYC], August 17, 2019. These changes must include the current bylaw reference language, the change, a plan to implement the change, and the organization who is recommending the change.
Questions about changes to the Bylaws should be referred to the Methods & Standards Co-Chairs.
