🏳️🌈 Rome to Host the 2027 InterPride General Meeting & World Conference 🏳️⚧️
Rome will host the 45th GM&WC of InterPride in 2027, bringing together organizers, activists, and Pride leaders from all over the world. The bid, promoted by Roma Pride and Circolo di Cultura Omosessuale Mario Mieli, was selected at the latest InterPride Conference, reaffirming Rome’s historic role in the global LGBTQIA+ movement.
More than 25 years after WorldPride 2000, the Eternal City becomes once again a hub of visibility, unity and solidarity. The program will include workshops, plenaries, cultural events, networking, exchanges with numerous delegates from over 400 organizations, and caucuses dedicated to trans, non-binary, GNC, intersex and BIPOC communities.
Rick André and Rahul Upadhyay, Co-Presidents of InterPride, state:
“Rome 2027 will be a unique moment of collaboration, learning, and inspiration for the entire global movement. We look forward to building together on the legacy of those who came before us.”
Mario Colamarino, President of Circolo Mario Mieli and Spokesperson for Roma Pride, adds:
“Hosting the 2027 GM&WC is a great honor and a responsibility. Rome will become a political, social, and cultural laboratory—an opportunity to strengthen our community and prepare for the challenges ahead.”
