Live Stream: Giving Voice to LGBTQI+ Advocacy: Legislative v. Lived Reality

Join the F&M Global Barometers (FMGB) and InterPride online on April 11 at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 4pm GMT to learn about the state of global LGBTQI+ rights and activism.
The FMGB tracks the state of LGBTQI+ rights in 204 countries, including indicators such as the right to register, the ability to hold Pride events, and the right to peacefully and safely assemble. Most recently, the FMGB launched the F&M Global Barometers Perception Index (GBPI), a first-of-its-kind survey that measures LGBTQI+ individuals’ lived realities. Together, the FMGB and GBPI are unique tools that allow for longitudinal, comprehensive, and comparative analysis. Over the course of the live stream, the FMGB will discuss the survey results, highlight areas of progress and backsliding, and discuss the correlation between activism, lived reality, democracy, and corruption.
